The 400 year old building underwent a major refurbishment in 2003, but still retains all of its olde worlde charm.
The bar is split between:
- an area with solid oak flooring which houses the TV for those important sporting events and fruit machines;
- a carpeted lounge area with the large inglenook fireplace and open fire, which provides a wonderfully cosy atmosphere in the colder months; and
- a back room which can be used for functions and meetings, overflow dining or games room.

The bar serves a variety of wines, spirits, soft drinks and lagers with real ales, such as Adnams, London Pride and Archers.

A major addition to the facilities in 2003 was the large conservatory restaurant, which can seat up to 36 and is also ideal for functions such as weddings and birthday parties. The conservatory is fully air-conditioned to ensure your comfort whatever the weather is doing outside. |

During the warmer months, patrons can take full advantage of the outdoor facilities. At the back of the large car park is a vast garden area with tables. Here you will find a children’s adventure playground. This is also the area for the floodlit petanque piste. |

To the side of the pub there is a large decked patio area, ideally suited for alfresco drinking, dining and summer barbecues. |
