The Buck's Head is happy to cater for your special occasion - whether it is a wedding, birthday, anniversary, retirement, or just a good excuse to gather family and friends together!
Our conservatory restaurant will seat up to 36 people (or more than double that for a standing buffet). The oak wood floor is also very good for dancing!
The Back Room is adjacent to the bar but shielded from it by the large fireplace, (which is lit during the colder winter months providing a very cosy atmosphere). The room will seat up to 16 and is ideal for meetings or laying out a buffet, allowing your guests to linger by the bar, but still be part of the group.
The Back Room opens onto our decked patio area. During the summer months this provides a wonderful venue for parties and barbecues.
The theme of your party is limited only by your imagination and you are welcome to decorate the rooms. This year, guests organised a summer Caribbean party complete with steel band, a Morris dance workshop, a child’s birthday party, a Ceroc dance party and a giant Scalextric evening. Next year, we have been asked about a murder mystery evening as well as a simple afternoon tea party.
For parties of 15 or more, please study our Functions Menu, which gives details of the meals and buffets we offer. Parties of 25 or more can opt to have the carvery. If you do not see what you want, please tell us your requirements and we will be happy to quote a price for you.
